LAKE MARY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) – Florida’s high school drop out rate is at 20 percent, ten percent shy of the national average.

Sir Michael Barber has spent 20 years researching what makes for successful schools, and he says much of it is about leadership.

Barber, a leading authority on education systems and education reform, was the education adviser to former United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair and visited FOX 35 studios to discuss how he believes the drop out trend can be reversed
