Wall Street Meets The Windy City

New York Institute Of Finance Open For Business in Chicago in April 2008

New York, NY - April 14, 2008 — The New York Institute of Finance (NYIF), part of Pearson (NYSE: PSO), is opening an office in Chicago, which will serve as NYIF's regional financial training capital for the Midwest. The fourth largest metropolitan area in the world, Chicago is home to three major financial and futures exchanges, including the Chicago Stock Exchange, the Chicago Board Options Exchange, and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Based in the heart of Chicago's financial district, on West Adams Street NYIF will offer its Core Skills Program, Technical Analysis and Strategy Program, and CFA Intensive Review, as well as more than 50 of its most popular classes, including Accounting, Derivatives, Financial Modeling, Alternative Investments, Core Financial Concepts, and Professional Skill Development.

In addition to public open enrollment classes, NYIF also provides eLearning and virtual training opportunities.
