Wall Street Meets The Great Wall

New York Institute Of Finance Opens For Business in Beijing

New York, NY - April 1, 2008—The New York Institute of Finance (NYIF) has opened an office in Beijing, under the name of Pearson Financial Consulting (PFC), presenting a unique opportunity to help educate and train China's financial and business professionals. The opening event was attended by over 200 practitioners from government, academia and the financial services industry.

The Beijing program is initially concentrating on courses in the areas of Risk Management and Controls, Wealth Management, Structured Products, and Derivatives. PFC will eventually offer NYIF's full curriculum of over 300 courses in twenty different categories. Specialized seminars, large scale conferences, business English, and CMT/CFA prep courses will be added. A week-long seminar on "Investing in China" for non-China based individuals is currently in development.

PFC also plans to offer NYIF's extensive program of elearning courses in English.
