BLOOMINGTON, Minn., September 19, 2007 –Pearson VUE, the electronic certification and licensure testing business of Pearson, today announced it signed an exclusive contract with Educational Resources, Inc. (ERI) to begin computer-based test delivery of their Nurse Entrance Test (NET). Beginning late October 2007, the NET will be delivered in Pearson VUE-owned and -operated Pearson Professional Centers in the state of Connecticut, with plans to be administered nationwide in the near future.

Since 1963, Educational Resources, Inc. (ERI) has been recognized for its development of quality diagnostic assessments and other products for nursing education, including the NET (Nurse Entrance Test). The NET evaluates the knowledge and skills necessary for nursing students to complete academic courses within a nursing program, including mathematics, reading and study skills, and is a proven tool for effective prediction of overall success in nursing education programs.
