Promissor Launches New Program For Insurance Licensure Testing For The North Dakota Insurance Department Philadelphia, PA. November 15, 2006 - Promissor, a Pearson VUE business, announced the successful implementation of a new program to provide test development, test administration, and psychometric services for the North Dakota Insurance Department. The contract was awarded at the conclusion of a competitive procurement process in August and the program was implemented on November 1, 2006. Candidates for the insurance licensure in North Dakota are using the combined Promissor and Pearson VUE test center network, which is providing them with greater convenience, expanded testing opportunities, easy and rapid exam registration and increased customer service levels. North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Jim Poolman said, "The Department is extremely excited and looking forward to our new partnership with Promissor to administer a full-service testing program that features valid and reliable examinations as well as convenient and flexible testing opportunities for our North Dakota licensing candidates."
