Oct. 5, 2006-- Pearson Assessments announced today that its Prosper(TM) assessment system was recognized as one of 15 Legacy Winners by the 2006 Awards of Excellence from "Technology & Learning" magazine. This is the third year that the magazine has recognized Legacy Winners - products that have stood the test of time and evolved with the changing technology to continue to offer the highest quality experience for educators and students.

Last year, Prosper was one of 45 curriculum products to receive the Award of Excellence. The 24-year-old recognition program honors innovative applications that break new ground in some important way and best-of-breed examples that demonstrate clear superiority over similar products in the market.
