BLOOMINGTON, Minn., October 27, 2005 --Pearson VUE, the electronic testing business of Pearson Education, today announced it signed a multi-year contract with VCampus Corporation to provide electronic test delivery for the new CFA Institute Certificate in Global Investment Performance Standards (CGIPS^TM) program. Beginning March 2006, CGIPS exams will be available throughout the Pearson VUE-owned and -operated global network of more than 230 Pearson Professional Centers supplemented by another 170 Pearson VUE® Authorized Center Select test centers around the world.

CFA Institute is a global, non-profit professional association that sets voluntary, ethics-based professional and performance-reporting standards for the investment community. CFA Institute selected Pearson VUE to deliver the new Certificate in Global Investment Performance Standards examinations.

The program is based, in part, on the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) that are sponsored by CFA Institute and 23 other investment organizations. The CGIPS program fills a void in the marketplace for a professional credential specifically focused on performance evaluation and presentation. In order to receive the CGIPS designation, candidates must pass two certification exams: Principles and Expert.
