PEARSON EDUCATION'S SPONSORSHIP OF "LATINAS: THE SPIRIT OF CALIFORNIA" EXHIBIT
PEARSON EDUCATION'S SPONSORSHIP OF Sacramento, CA. September 28, 2005 - Pearson Education, the world's leading educational publisher, today announced its sponsorship of "Latinas: The Spirit of California," a new exhibit at the California Museum for History, Women and the Arts in Sacramento, CA. The exhibit, which runs from September 29th through June, 2006, honors remarkable women who are community leaders and activists, politicians and entertainers, entrepreneurs and artists. From the 1800's to today, the exhibit presents the many faces of Latinas who have left an imprint on California including contemporary Latinas, such as Dr. Ellen Ochoa, the first Latina astronaut. "We welcome the opportunity to sponsor this inspirational exhibit.
