Addision-Wesley Professional Announces Series of Books on Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team System

Leading Publisher of Software Engineering Books to Release Series Supporting Microsoft's New Suite of Extensible Lifecycle Tools

Boston, MA (April 18, 2005) - Addison-Wesley Professional, a leading publisher of books for software engineers, today announced a series of books which will provide comprehensive, practical, and authoritative coverage of all aspects of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team System. The first titles are scheduled to be released this fall, and will include Software Engineering with Microsoft Visual Studio Team System, and Microsoft Solutions Framework for Agile Software Development: The Definitive Guide to Microsoft's New Agile Methodology. This new series will be published as an extension of Addison-Wesley Professional's acclaimed Microsoft .NET Development Series

Software Engineering with Microsoft Visual Studio Team System is written by Sam Guckenheimer, Group Product Planner for Visual Studio 2005 Team System. It will be the definitive introduction to Visual Studio 2005 Team System, giving a friendly guide to software engineering practices for teams developing industrial-strength applications using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. The guidance supports both CMMI and Agile methodologies.

Microsoft Solutions Framework for Agile Software Development presents the definitive description of Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) for Agile Software Development, a new approach to software development from Microsoft. It is written by Granville Miller, Program Manager, Visual Studio 2005 Team System, and an architect of MSF for Agile Software Development.
