Pearson Prentice Hall Introduces Prentice Hall Classics Revitalized Editions of Popular Textbooks for Existing and New Customers Upper Saddle River, NJ - March 16, 2005 - Pearson Prentice Hall, the nation's leading educational publisher, is launching Prentice Hall Classics, a series that will reintroduce popular textbook titles for grades 6-12 with updated copyrights and reduced pricing. The first titles in the series, some of which were previously no longer available, are: Informal Geometry, by Philip Cox; Paul Foerster's Algebra I and Algebra & Trigonometry; Algebra I and Algebra II, by Smith, Charles, Dossey, Bittinger; and A History of the United States, by Boorstin and Kelley. Student editions of these textbooks are being offered at up to a discount of 30 percent. The Foerster and Cox titles include a new Skills Handbook, to help students review problem-solving strategies and other math basics.
