Pearson Education Introduces 24/7 Online Purchase Order Processing For All K-12 Materials

Upper Saddle River,NJ,May 24,2004 – Pearson Education, the world’s leading educational publisher, announced today the introduction of a new order processing application called OASIS (Order and Shipment Information System) that allows educational institutions to purchase K-12 textbook programs, technology, and supplemental materials online.

Customers can now place and track orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week across all Pearson Education School Group businesses – including Pearson Scott Foresman, Pearson Prentice Hall, Pearson Learning Group, and LessonLab. By registering at http://k12oasis.pearsoned.com, all educational institutions can place orders with school purchase orders or school credit cards.

OASIS’ new features include same day shipping on all orders placed before 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time; school pricing; requests for standard free materials with order; and processing for orders for all schools within a district.
