Pearson Longman ELT Creates Suite of CD-ROM Courses Offering New Programs in English and Exam Preparation

White Plains, NY – December 1, 2003 - Pearson Longman ELT has just launched its first suite of video-based CD-ROM multimedia courses, featuring new programs in General English, Business English and Exam Preparation. Among the new courses offered are Longman English Interactive, a four-level, integrated skills program; Talking Business and Market Leader Interactive, for students and professionals; and TOEIC Interactive, a step-by-step program for increasing scores on the TOEIC® Test.

Each CD-ROM provides rich content, extensive dynamic practice, and a combination of a complete curriculum, learner support and ongoing assessment. These new, interactive courses also allow for greater teacher customization.

Pearson Longman is also launching its new CD-ROM, Side-By Side Interactive, a two level multimedia program combining interactive video-based exercises and activities for self-paced language instruction.
