Pearson VUE Awarded Patent for Unique Security Design

Bloomington, MN - April 11, 2003. Pearson VUE today announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has approved a patent for the design of its recently completed Pearson Professional Centers, a network of over 200 high-security test centers specifically designed and built to deliver high-stakes exams for the professional licensure, certification, academic and human resource markets. The design patent is based on a number of security features built into the centers to safeguard the intellectual capital of Pearson VUE clients.
