The IMS Global Learning Consortium’s Learning Impact Awards celebrate innovative use of technology to improve learning and were presented during the group’s annual conference in Long Beach, Calif.

DeVry University, Pearson eCollege and The Learning Edge International received a Gold Award in recognition of DeVry’s I (4) Excellence Content Authoring and Management System. The I (4) system (Independence, Instructional Integrity, Interoperability) uses Pearson eCollege’s online learning environment and The Learning Edge’s EQUELLA software to migrate and catalogue digital content.
Pearson also was recognized with three Learning Impact Leadership Awards:

Pearson also received recognition in the categories of Digital Learning Connection and Learning Tools Interoperability, for its collaboration on interoperability standards and major adoption projects for the digital support of education and learning.
