Opinion: Chandler link helps Apple expand world

Apple’s electronics are fun to use and have made reading books, listening to music, and connecting with friends and family more convenient. But who are the brains behind the programs used to complete these tasks? Some are here in Chandler. Employees at Pearson, which develops educational materials, worked with Apple to create iBooks 2 for iPad, which features interactive digital textbooks on biology, chemistry, algebra, geometry and environmental science.
