The first of many informational sessions on a tuition free online school was held Monday night in Brownsburg. The fully accredited virtual charter school is called Indiana Connections Academy. It began last year and served 280 students K through 8, but now already has 1,800 students K-12 for the upcoming school year. Principal Melissa Brown says they anticipate significant growth this year and they hope about 2,500 students will enroll before next school year.
