Community Invited to Join Company’s 1,000 Employees in Exploring Diversity With Nationally Recognized Speaker Deborah Peek Crockett, Ph.D.

San Antonio, TX,: February 16, 2010 — The community is invited to join more than 1,000 Pearson San Antonio employees to celebrate Black History Month with a special presentation, “The History of Black Economic Empowerment,” by Deborah Peek Crockett, Ph.D.

Dr. Crockett, a nationally recognized speaker on diversity, is a school psychologist at the Fayette County Board of Education in Georgia and an adjunct professor at Georgia State University. Her school practice, teaching and research focus on providing culturally competent school psychological services and recruitment and retention of minority school psychologists.
