Latest Education Technology Featured At Conference (With Video)

Hundreds of new technological gadgets and programs were displayed this week in Austin at the Texas Computer and Education Conference. There are an estimated 20,000 educational apps available to download.
Mark Staloff with Pearson showed off textbooks for the iPad.
“With the iPad, I think there’s something new because you have the touch experience. It’s more intimate,” said Staloff. “You have that sort of ownership, that holding of the tablet. It’s a way students are already interacting with smart phones, tablets.”
Through that touch, students can make images come to life or even take notes on the iPad.
