Pearson Campus Ambassador Program

We’re hiring students to work part-time with Pearson on campus and help students do well in their courses. Campus Ambassadors will gain valuable work experience while playing a vital role in helping students succeed with Pearson programs. It’s a win-win!

About the program

The Pearson Campus Ambassador program is a highly-selective program for undergraduate students in the U.S. and Canada. As a Pearson Campus Ambassador, you play a vital role in providing student support in your college’s community. By working closely with educators, students, and Pearson professionals, you help your peers to succeed in their courses and provide valuable feedback on Pearson products and services.

Campus Ambassadors typically commit 1-5 hours per week to this position. We’ll provide you with training, leadership, management opportunities, and an hourly wage. Apply today!

  • Lead demonstrations and/or presentations about Pearson’s technology products for students and faculty
  • Create events, activities, and opportunities that help students best use Pearson technologies
  • Collect feedback from students through focus groups, surveys, and individual interviews
  • Work with Pearson to promote current and future products
  • Participate in conference calls, trainings, and regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Commit to an average of 1-5 hours per week on-campus


  • Must be enrolled at a college or university in the U.S. or Canada
  • Must be 18 or older and a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Must be in their first, second, or third year of undergraduate study
  • All undergraduate majors are encouraged to apply
  • Family members of Pearson employees are not eligible

Marcel Adams

Prince George's Community College • Largo, MD
Communication | Expected Date of Graduation: Spring 2016 - Spring 2018, Currently a CC student but will be transferring

Marcel is a student at Prince George's Community College, where he is majoring in communication with a focus on public relations/journalism. He plans to receive his associate degree and transfer to the University of Maryland, College Park, where he intends to pursue a bachelor's degree in journalism. When he is not in a meeting for the Student Governance Association or studying, Marcel enjoys volunteering and traveling to various places. As an avid fan of amusement parks, he hopes to one day be able to travel the world and visit all of the amusement parks across the globe. Marcel is excited about being a Pearson Campus Ambassador and looks forward to spreading the word about how Pearson programs and resources can improve the lives of students all across campus!

Nicole Aguirre

Guilford Technical Community College
Psychology | Expected Date of Graduation: Spring 2016

Nicole grew up in Guayaquil, Ecuador and moved to the United States when she was only nine years old. She is currently attending Guilford Technical Community College in North Carolina, where she is working on her Associates of Art. In the fall, she will be transferring to a four year university to pursue a career in psychology. She really wants to focus on child and adolescent development in order to work as a therapist in the near future. Nicole is part of many clubs at school including the Spanish Club and the Rotaract Club, where she loves to volunteer when she can from time to time. Outside from school, Nicole enjoys doing yoga, watching anime, going to art museums, and eating all sorts of chocolate. She wishes to travel around the world one day in order to learn more about different cultures.

Rachel Chambers

LaGuardia Community College • Long Island City, NY
Liberal Arts: Social Science and Humanities | Expected Date of Graduation: Spring 2016, Spring 2018 - Currently a CC student but will be transferring

After living in Jamaica for most of her life, where she graduated from high school, Rachel decided to move to the United States to begin college. She is currently studying Liberal Arts: Social Science and Humanities, which she believes will help her gain a rounded education in different areas. She also believes it will help her grow and be open-minded while contributing to her everyday life, whether personal or professional. Her aim is to pursue a career within the medical field and practice orthopedics with a concentration in orthopedic surgery. Rachel enjoys sports in all areas, whether watching or playing them herself. Chambers is also a member and past officer of Phi Theta Kappa, where she hopes to use her leadership and service skills to help those around her in any way she can. She enjoys traveling to new places, learning about new cultures and meeting new people, knowing she will always be able to learn from these different experiences.

Pathik Patel

Temple University • Philadelphia, PA
Accounting and Management Information Science | Expected Date of Graduation: May 2017

Pathik is a highly competitive and motivated student who is double majoring in accounting and management information science at Temple University in the City of Brotherly Love. In his free time, he is either attending sporting events and cheering on the Temple Owls or participating in various extracurricular activities. He is actively involved and holds executive board positions in the Financial Management Association, South Asian Student Society, and American Medical Student Association. In the summer of 2015, Pathik completed an accounting internship with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts in the sweetest place on Earth. After graduating from college, Pathik would like to work in corporate accounting due the vast amount of opportunities available. He also loves to travel, play basketball, and read. Pathik is excited to join Pearson as a PCA and cannot wait to learn more about this well-established company.
