Pearson Students
help build the future of higher education

About the Pearson Students Team

Students are at the heart of all we do at Pearson. We continually look for new ways to connect with more students, more often, through a variety of campaigns and programs.

We interact with students every day through our social media channels, and we invite you to contact us with any questions, ideas, thoughts, or comments.

Meet the team

Andrea Shaw

Pearson Student Advisory Board & Partnerships

An East Coaster now living in sunny Northern California, Andrea can be found on the soccer field (watching her two boys play), biking, kayaking or teaching yoga to little kiddos. Her career in Education includes a six year stint as Director of Marketing and Admissions at two colleges in the Boston area and teaching marketing strategy at both the undergraduate and graduate level. At Pearson, she is part of our Student Relations team to engage our Ambassadors and is most excited about driving our new “One Professor” campaign to honor the Educators who impact the lives of students both in and outside of the classroom. Once her kids get off to College (which is still a few years away), Andrea’s dream is to do a yoga retreat in Bali and travel to India to see the Taj Mahal.

Lindsey started at Pearson in the Pearson Leadership Development Program (PLDP) after graduating in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, & Math at The University of Arizona. Through the PLDP program, she worked in Pearson’s K-12, Higher Ed, and Assessment groups in Boston, MA, and Austin, TX, before moving to New York City to work with the Pearson Students team. Dianna Blake

PS Blog

Dianna graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with her Bachelor of Arts in English in May 2015 and is remaining at the University to complete her Master of Arts in English. Once she completes her degree, she plans on teaching college-level English and Literature at a community college. As a mother of three while attending college, Dianna works to balance her school and family life, finding great joy in both. She is currently writing a book, College Success for Moms, which she plans to publish in 2016.

Stephanie Aguilar

Stephanie was born to Mexican parents in Yonkers, New York. She currently attends Lehman College and her goal is to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Dance. She is a member of “Spirits N Motion 3.0,” a salsa and Afro-Cuban team. Her experiences have solidified her goals to establish a successful nonprofit organization, direct her own salsa team, and be a representative for the Hispanic community. She continues to work toward this every single day.
