Manager, Institutional Strategy
Daniel leads the Intuitional Strategies team for Pearson Consulting Services. Daniel is an experienced consultant specializing in utilizing advanced analytical techniques to solve complex challenges. For the past ten years, he has worked with leading private- and public-sector organizations to identify new opportunities, manage critical challenges, and transform organizations.
Prior to joining Pearson, Daniel worked in higher education at Eduventures, where he helped develop the firm’s educational technology practice, at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he conducted research on strategy, management, and digital business. He has also worked outside education at the United States Senate, in private equity, and as a management consultant for a global strategy firm. Daniel completed an MBA at the Brandeis International Business School and a BA in government from the University of Virginia, and has published over 15 peer-reviewed articles on management and quantitative methodologies.
Senior Strategic Consultant
Paul has worked at the forefront of educational technology and distance learning for 32 years and has been involved in the emergence of new teaching and learning environments since the early 1980s. Paul has served in a variety of roles at public and private higher education institutions, including 22 years as faculty member, as well as director for teaching and learning, Dean and Vice President for online and adult learning at several institutions including Buena Vista University, Cleveland State University, and Hiram College.
Manager, Learning Strategy
Rachel leads the Academic Consulting team for Pearson Consulting Services. She has over 14 years of experience in administration and education roles where she helped colleges and universities develop focused comprehensive, executable strategies to enhance teaching, learning, assessment, analytics and education administration. She has expertise in online program start-up operations, curricular and course development, programmatic and course-level outcomes assessment, faculty training and mentoring, and change management strategies for online and blended education models.
Rachel is passionate about a vision and practice centered on data-informed student learning improvements, taking into account the unique organizational dynamics related to student readiness and support services, faculty engagement, a campus culture of assessment, and the implementation of technology to support key initiatives in education. Rachel received a BS in Organizational Management and an MS in Organizational Leadership, specializing in Adult Learning Methods, Curriculum, and Instruction from Palm Beach Atlantic University
